Core Aeration
We recommend this service on a yearly basis to maintain your lawn’s peek performance. It’s what the golf courses do at least once a year if not twice on their putting greens and throughout the golf course.
Core Aeration is the process of making thousands of small holes in the turf allowing fertilizer nutrients, water and oxygen to reach the root zone more effectively. This opens up compacted soil to increase root development.
A healthier, more established root system results in stronger grass plants with more resistance to weeds, pests and summer heat and drought stress.
Signs that your lawn needs Core Aeration:
A thick layer of thatch around the base of grass plants.
Drainage issues or puddles in lawn.
Shallow grass roots.
Compacted soil from heavy traffic.
Grass that is off colored - this could be a sign of a lack of nutrients.
Disease Issues
Drought, Insect and/or Disease Damage.
